Our Cause
Diamond’s House Inc. was established in November 2009 in an effort to help eliminate homelessness and domestic abuse. Diamond’s House founder and President Adrienne Goodwin Litmon could no longer to turn a blind eye to such problems that dramatically plague the city.
Every American has the right to live in a safe nurturing environment. We respect the dignity and the diversity of each and every person we serve and of those who volunteer and work with us. We strive to continually improve the quality of our services through understanding and acting upon the needs and expectations of those being served. We are innovative in our practices to support continual improvement and growth. Our services consist of providing food, clothing, and social services. We are an all volunteer organization. Our fundraising efforts support our services provided daily; as well as implementing long term goals and new programs. Without the kindness and generosity of our supporters, we will not be able to accomplish our endeavors.
Our Mission
The mission of Diamond’s House Inc. is to stop homelessness, to assist the elderly, to help battered women and pregnant teens by providing a loving family environment in a safe and secure shelter, and providing food and clothing as needed.
